Astrid Lindberg

Owner

I started this company to fix pipes in a place where they freeze. I answer the day line, write every estimate and decide which van goes where.

Most of the winter, the phone is about water that stopped or water that came back. We try to be plain about which one it is, what it will cost and when we'll be there.

Where she works

  • Frozen and split pipes
  • Water-service lines
  • Cabins and seasonal homes
  • Rental properties

The firm

Six of us and three vans

Lindberg Plumbing is an owner and five plumbers, in a yard on Roosevelt Road. We work St. Cloud and the towns around it, and we don't send a van we can't staff.

In the cold months, one of the five carries the night phone for a week at a time. In a hard thaw we put everyone on the road, and we take active water first. If we can't be there soon, we say so and give you a number for another plumber.

  • A plumber answers the emergency line, day and night.

  • You get a written price before any pipe is cut.

  • We say what we couldn't fix, and why.
